NeighborWorks is excited to be able to offer Down Payment Assistance loans to qualified Borrowers. This loan can be done in coordination with most lenders and allows the Borrower to qualify for a home in a higher price range.

A down payment assistance loan is a second loan that sits behind the loan of the Primary Lender and requires no monthly payments. The loan is paid off when the house is sold or refinanced in the future. The qualified income amount is dependent on the number of people in the household.
